The two colors are connected by a long black brushstroke down the middle. The brushstroke does not touch the edges of the canvas but instead takes up 2/3 of the canvas length-wise and 1/3 width-wise.

The background of this print is covered with whitish paint or gesso that reveals the texture of the canvas, brush, and its application. Where material has been applied to the canvas there are small wrinkles. Dashes of black paint appear on the lower two thirds of the collage. What looks like a signature is in the bottom left.

The whole print has a rather greenish hue and is broken up horizontally just below the center of the print by a row of black objects, which are likely trees. Just below this space are what appear to be waves on the surface of the pond made by white curves lines.
