In this print, Dan Flavin takes a photograph of Vladimir Tatlin, the famous Constructivist sculptor, and juxtaposes it with an incongruous geometric pattern. The pattern appears to reference Flavin's work Monument for V. Tatlin
. The stark contrast between modernity and former technological advancements (namely photography) is made apparent, as well as Flavin's obvious admiration for Tatlin.
