At the right of the print, there is a line drawing of a figure seated in a large tufted chair, holding a scepter. There is a crown floating above the figure and there are stars above that. To the lower left, there is a simple drawing of a figure and a sailboat in a landscape.There is a collaged image of a lion at the center below a green tufted chair. To the right of the chair, between it and the large seated figure, is a small landscape with a figure and a cord with a plug at the end, connected to the chair. To the left at the center, there is a monogram of the artist and date. The print is signed (l.r.) and numbered (l.l.) in pencil.

Two vertical designs dominate the drawing. Natural forms such as vines and other vegetal forms create designs that are symmetrical and organized around a central vertical axis.

A New Design for TV Chair
This vertical print shows a slick advertising image in the top half with a man and a woman watching an early model television set. The woman is smoking a cigarette. A text box is inserted asking three questions. The bottom half is less slick, simply a diagram and text, some of it in a typewriter font. Text above and below asks about how soon television sets will be widely available in homes and museums. The date 1944 is included in parentheses at the top of the image.

Designs for bases, pitchers, capitals, lecturns, and wall brackets are scattered across the sheet. Most are quickly sketched and elaborate on the theme of scrolling designs.

This print includes three seperate images and text.  At the top is a sketch in black ink of the Museum of Modern Art, wrapped in textile, with buildings behind it.  Below is a map of the area in NYC around MoMA and a photograph of MoMA, unwrapped. Handwritten labels and notes are included.

In conversation with 1961/2.2 (a summer version), this painting depicts a winter scene. The painting includes trees, snow, water, mountains, a small bridge, and a small individual. The individual is wearing a backpack walking on the lower left along a trail. The water is on the lower right side. Trees take up about 2/3 of the scene, appearing alongside the path as well as in the mountains. The higher up the mountains go, the more barren and snowier they get. At the top right is an inscription in black and red ink. The painting is framed with a dark green flower-patterned cloth. The top and bottom of the painting are also lined with a different lighter brown cloth.

An intricate series of arches, stairs, and balustrades are presented obliquely. The deepest recession into space is at the center of the design. Seen from a low vantage point, the soaring columns and arcades create the illusion of deep space.
