Description: This tour examines a few carefully selected works and asks students to closely observe them. Students will write in the galleries, making connections between the creative processes of the writer and the visual artist. Some writing techniques students may encounter include: compare/contrast, detailed description of a setting, figurative language, dialogue, and narrative sequencing.
