Think Like an (Art) Historian

Description: Historians use primary sources as clues to answer questions about who, what, when, where, and why events occurred. This tour uses art as primary sources for students, so they can mine for clues about history and also about artists’ motivations.


Concepts: Social Studies (Use primary and secondary sources, chronology and timelines, diaries and written evidence) and Art (Compare the use of various materials to communicate ideas and sensory experiences)
