Subject matter
The painting depicts a church and part of a building in the city of Aulnay-sous-Bois, a suburb northeast of Paris.

Physical Description
A winter scene with a steepled church in the center surrounded by other buildings, including a three-story building on the right hand side. A bird perches on top of the steeple. Snow covers the ground and the trees in front of the church are bare. Pinks, whites, browns and blues dominate the palette.
