CURRICULUM / COLLECTION - FAIRCHILD - METAPHYSICS - 1st DISPLAY

This small sculpture is made from crumpled paper and aluminum foil coated in resin. One end of the sculpture is blue, the other a brown-red, and the center is silver.  Pieces of paper which look like newsprint are stuck to the bottom of the sculpture. The piece is deceptively light.

This print shows a blue, black and white form printed on transparent plastic.  The form is roughly ball-shaped, looking like a piece of crumpled paper.  There are faint traces of text in the middle of the form and towards the left side.

This shallow conical bowl on a straight footring is covered in a pale blue opaque glaze, the interior is moon-white and the exterior, sky blue. There is a copper reddish-purple splash to the interior and two gold repairs along the rim and side.

This brown rectangular print shows a yellow circle and a yellow hexagon shape with red stencil lettering. At the bottom edge of the rectangle, below the yellow circle, is the word "hexagon". Within the the yellow circle are the words "eternal" and "hexagon" and within the yellow hexagon shape is a large "6".
