Physical Description
In this photograph, three young women of varying ages use drop spindles to spin wool in a mountainous setting. The eldest of the three is seated in the left foreground and appears to monitor her younger companion on the opposite side of the photograph. All three figures wear unadorned, patterned and/or plain dresses with their hair wrapped in cloth coverings.
