Teacher Workshop: Red Circle Contemporary Japanese Posters Articles and Resources

These resources were shared at a workshop for K-12 teachers at UMMA on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. The theme of the workshop was teaching design principles to students in art and general education classes. The workshop was presented in conjunction with the exhibition Red Circle: Designing Japan in Contemporary Posters. 

Resources here include art making activities, design history articles, and folk tales based on images in the Japanese posters.
