There are three ducks in the water. The first is facing forward and is sitting in the water with its feet completely submerged. The second is behind the first but is a little higher in the water and is pecking at its feathers. The third is the furthest behind and is standing in the water with its legs fully visible but its feet submerged, it is also pecking at its feathers. There are two signatures and two seals on the right side of the painting.

A man stands in an apron and rolled sleeves in the water door of a building along a canal. Another figure is seen kneeling and reaching down to the water at the left edge of the water door. The building and its reflection fills the frame; the emphasis is on the figures in the darkened opening, along with their reflections, while the upper story of the building is only summarily indicated.

The print depicts a fisherman standing on a seaside cliff perfoming loneline fishing. There are great waves below him striking the cliff and there is a mountain in the background. The print mainly applies the color of white and shades of blue. The artist inscribed the title of the work along with his signature on the upper left-hand corner.
