Asagao in Japanese, is very common in Japan. This one, in particular, appears to have been in a garden judging by the supporting structure behind the plant.
Physical DescriptionThis is a painting of a morning glory. The subject is predominantly in the center-right of the paper and uses colors of blue, yellow, green, brown, and black. The flower is held up by a stick structure. To the right of the plant is a stamp in red and on the left is a vertical inscription in black which also has two stamps in red immediately following.
