Subject matter
In this photograph, a young man, cloaked in black, holds a shard of glass as a mask over his face. The left half of the glass reflects light, appearing opaque and brilliantly lit, while the right half is translucent, revealing a distorted image of the man's bespectacled face underneath. He stands in a corner, two walls covered in penciled graffiti rise from his side and behind him.
