Credit LineGift of Mr. and Mrs. James Agah, Class of 1989 (BBA)Subject matterThis photograph presents a scene of chaotic jubilation as a group of students has just been let outside for recess. The whole image is a whir of energy; all the children appear ecstatic as they wear wide smiles and wave their hands in the air. They all wear similar uniforms: a white collared shirt and slightly darker pleated skirt for the girls and white collared shirt with long pants or shorts for the boys. Many of the young figures look out directly at the viewer, for example, the closest young girl just left of center in the immediate foreground makes direct eye contact as her mouth opens to let out an exuberant yell.
Physical DescriptionA group of young girls and boys rush toward the camera with smiles on their faces and hands outstretched.
