Subject matter
Convergence is part of a series of digital prints on canvas that Kushiator created to "rediscover the importance and significance of our cultural and spiritual environment, that promote the healing, transformation and empowerment of the individual" (artist's statement). The works function as gateways that draw the spirit to its heritage. They are inspired by Primitivist artists such as Picasso, Braque and Matisse and the way they interpreted African artworks and represented them abstractly in their own works.

Physical Description
There are blues, reds, blacks, yellows, aquamarines intertwined in this piece, creating a swirling effect and different shapes throughout. All of the shapes converge in the center where the color shapes are smaller and more entwined.
