Subject matter
The scarifications, hairdress and represented jewelry indicate that this is a depiction of a woman of high status. Most likely, this sculpture depicts a female ancestor. 

Physical Description
Kneeling female figure with hands placed on knees. The chest and back show scarifications. The teeth are filed and the figure has a flat, raised coiffure.
