Two Girls, One Canvas

Brian Ford, LSA Class of 2010

Inspired by Two Girls Reading, Pablo Picasso, 1994/1.67

The UMMA is extremely lucky to have Picasso’s Two Girls Reading. The form and colors of the piece are incredible— it’s a vivacious little painting. When I looked at it all I could think of was how I would go about its construction if I were to recreate it myself, which led to the concept of the video.
