The Fluxus String and Water Compendium, a pleasant, smoke-free evening of mostly inoffensive Fluxus entertainments.

Wednesday, March 14, 7:30pm Helmut Stern Auditorium

On Wednesday, March 14, 2012, UMMA presented Fluxus originator Ben Patterson, UM History of Art professor David T. Doris, and an all-star cast of well-heeled miscreants in a Pleasant, Smoke-Free Evening of Mostly Inoffensive Fluxus Entertainments. In the elegant atmosphere of UMMA's Helmut Stern Auditorium, audiences witnessed and participated in an astonishing array of activities, including: counting, dripping, throwing, drawing straight lines (and following them), describing objects, cutting paper, opening umbrellas, and turning lights on and off.
