Credit LineMuseum PurchaseSubject matterThe photograph is a close-up of a window sill taken from the interior of a room. Plain curtains, slightly transluscent and hemmed bottom border, drapes over the open window through which a slight breeze enters, as indicated by the billowing motion of the fabric. A bright outline of a circle is reflected on the lower left portion of the window, most likely created by light reflecting off of an out-of-frame object.
Physical DescriptionPlay of light and shadows on a curtained window, window sill, and interior wall.
