Subject matter
This print is part of a portfolio made in collaboration with Experiments in Art and Technology (EAT) and Moderna Museet as a fundraising effort for artists. Known as the father of Junk Art, Richard Stankiewicz created sculptural assemblages out of scrap metal. This print appears to use the base of a metal object, perhaps a can to create an imprint. The print is a reminder of the physicality of the object and the process of creation.
