Subject matter
The earthy tones and use of positive and negative space are reminiscent of the desert within which this print was published. O'Hara created this abstract print for a small publication that was produced by Adja Yunkers at the Rio Grande Graphics Workshop with contributions by himself and several other artists and poets. The piece was a collaboration between artists and poets around the common theme of the desert.

This print has a few bold, vertical, brown strokes over a figure in black wearing a hat with a bird or small animal settling on the top.
