Credit LineGift of Stanley T. Lesser, A.B. 1951, J.D. 1953Subject matterThis photograph depicts a blizzard blowing over a snowy landscape. Located in the center of the frame stands a coniferous tree. The tree's laden branches droop with the weight of accumulated snow. Largely obscured by the atmosphere of the storm, the shapes of other leafless trees are faintly visible in the background. Sprinting past the right of the tree is a dog, its dark-toned fur standing out in contrast to the snow blanketing the field. It wears a collar which suggests it is a domestic pet. As the photograph's title informs, this photograph was made in New York City, most likely in Central Park.
Physical DescriptionThis photograph depicts a snowy field during a blizzard. In the center of the frame stands a lone snow-laden tree past which a large dog runs.
