This wooden figure depicts a standing female whose upper body is wrapped with woven fiber and metal rings, while multi-colored beads and metal objects including clips, a pendant, and a smaller ring dangle from her ears. Arms, facial details, a coiffure, and defined toes are not present.  <br />

A massive wood-carved headdress with stylized face (showing classic Yoruba features) of bulging eyes with defined upper lids, long, straight, triangular nose, symmetrical scarification patterns consisting of three horizontal lines on each cheek, and a short beard from ear to ear just underneath the lower lip. Two large “ears” protrude on either side of head and act as “scaffolding” for numerous attachments of symbolic content: birds and lions predominate, but also visible are amulets, wooden claws and beads, crosses, and an insignia shield of some kind. The ears terminate in two oblong mirrors with lions leaping off of each. Layers of pigment are visible, giving the impression that it has been repainted over time.

This imposing, anthropomorphic Songye <em>nkisi</em>, or power figure, stands upright and features an assemblage of man-made, vegetal, and animal components. Most strikingly, a large antelope horn protrudes vertically from the figure’s head, and two animal teeth have been affixed to the corners of its mouth giving the appearance of fangs. Bearing wide, alert eyes, this fearsome figure is enswathed by civet and monkey skin. Horns, including a smaller one inserted into a larger one, have been tightly strapped around the figure’s chest. Also attached to the figure are seed pods, an ax blade, and glass beads. A medicine bundle carrying feathers and a horn hangs behind the figure's back.

Standing female figure with each foot on a small base. The hands rest at the sides and around the neck, waist, and ankles are strings of various colored beads. Cowrie shells are strung around the wrists. The pupils of the eyes are metal and on each cheek there are three vertical grooves. The hair is in a rounded comb-like shape with designs of arches and diagonal lines, coated in blue pigment.

Round beaded crown with six radiating bands—predominantly green with white, metallic and blue accents—that stem from the central axis upon which a large blue-headed bird sits. Eight smaller birds perch at the base of the bands. The bottom rim is predominantly red with white, metallic, and blue accents. The spaces in between the vertical bands are filled with yellow feathers.

Wood-carved, standing figure with knees slightly flexed, prominent gentalia, naturalistic face, pointed beard and eyes inset with a white material, probably small ceramic fragments. The feet are missing. It wears a metal ring around its neck, and a string with metal fragments, glass beads and a small metal bell is attached across its chest, from arm to arm. A vertical crack on the front right side of the figure is filled with a gauzy material.

Wooden staff covered with beads, displaying a zig-zag pattern in blue, white, red, yellow, and pink along the shaft, with a metal point at the base. The finial (top of the staff) consists of an equestrian figure, mostly in green, wearing an elaborate red-and-yellow crown, holding a blue staff and riding a multicolored horse, which stands on a rectangular platform adorned with a fringe of beads.

Standing female figure on a round base mounted on another square base. There are metal rings around the ankles. The hands are placed at the sides and there are strings of beads around the waist and neck. There are three vertical grooves in the forehead and on each cheek there are three vertical and three horizontal grooves. The hair is in a conical shape with a small knob at the top, decorated with vertical grooves.&nbsp;
