Bruce Davidson
Untitled (Child Swinging from a Tree), from "Welsh Miners"
Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas M. Kenyon
A boy stands at the front of the painting, arms crossed and face solemn. He is wearing an oversized white shirt that comes down to his knees. A figure, most likely a woman, stands behind him with her back turned. Her head is covered in a long black headscarf that is traditional to Jewish culture. Behind them is a blue horizon.

Boys Bathing
1847 – 1935
Gift of Gilbert M. Frimet
A child sits inside a fence of barbed wire upon the bare dirt ground; beyond the fence lies nothing but burnt tree trunks. He is dressed in rags, and his feet are completely bandaged. Eyes sunken and lips pursed, he holds his hands up in a surrender-like state. It is implied by the title that this child is Jewish and is most likely being depicted inside one of the death camps during the Holocaust.
Fanny Rabel
Jewish Child
1924 – 1958
Museum Purchase
Two children sit on the right side of the image and a third stands with hands under her apron. It is a very rough sketch with shading around the figures and very little discernable of faces.
Camille Pissarro
