Physical DescriptionA lid for a maebyeong jar in the shape of a melon and covered in a green hued glaze. The is entirely glazed and was fired with three quartzite spurs on the innter surface. Fine crazing extends over the surface forming a kind of pattern.
This is ribbed maebyeong lid in the shape of a melon. It is entirely glazed and was red with three quartzite spurs supporting its inner surface. Fine crazing extends over its entire surface like a pattern. Despite small damages in two parts of the rim, the color, clay body, and fusion of the glaze are all of a relatively high standard.
