Subject matter
The large center figure has a beard which represents wisdom and scholarship, and is wearing an elaborate red robe with an embellished headress, signifying high ranking status. He is holding a scroll with words that translate to "five roads to attaining wealth." There are six children surrounding him in similar elaborate robes, and they are all holding plates of gold ingots and gold coins.
