Subject matter
A fashion print with a standing woman in a green dress, a seated woman in black and grey and a child in blue.

Physical Description
This colored engraving depicts two women and one child in elaborate dress. The central figure is a woman standing in a dark green dress decorated with lighter green trimmings. Her hair is gathered in a headpiece made up of green ribbons and pink flowers. To the right of her a woman in a black and grey dress sits on a burgundy chaise. The child standing on the left of the composition is outfitted in a navy blue and pale blue costume with a jacket trimmed in white. The child reaches toward something kept in the standing woman’s left hand.
