This photograph depicts the Topkapi Palace in Turkey. This palace is situated in Istanbul, on the top of a hill in a small penisula between the Golden Horn, Sea of Marmar, and the Bosphorus straight. Now a muesum, the ornate structure was the court of the Ottoman empire between the 15th and 19th centuries.
