This photograph depicts Teichos Dymaion in Greece, an ancient acropolis in cape Áraxos, also known as the Wall of Dymaeans or Castle of Kaloriá. It is the only example of a fortified Mycenaean Acropolis in Western Greece, consisting of towers, impressive walls, the monumental gates, bastions, houses, and altars.
