He does extensive dark room work with up to a dozen enlargers for one image. His complex work with photographic negatives began decades before the advent of Photoshop, pushing the artistic boundaries of altered photography. His images are often inspired by Surrealism, and his work is influenced by Modern photographers such as Edward Weston.
