Subject matter
Three nude women stand on a dock in front of a ship, perhaps saying goodbye to one another or someone else, based on title. The women are clustered together, each turned in a slightly different direction displaying different angles of their nude bodies as in depictions of the Judgment of Paris or the three muses.

Three nude women stand on a dock in front of a ship. Two of the women's faces are turned to look at the ship, while the middle woman is facing the artist. Her face is in blue. They each seem to be holding an object.
