Subject matter
This portfolio cover by Pierre Bonnard belongs to the "Album de la Revue Blanche," a portfolio of prints by artists associated with La Revue Blanche, a periodical for art and literature. The album featured works of several members of the Nabis group, to which Bonnard also belonged, and was published in Paris in 1895 by L'Estampe Originale.
