Subject matter
In the 1950's Sir Anthony Caro focused on abstract figural sculptures that were meant to represent human bodies and their emotions from the inside out. This piece representes two separate human head-like forms that meet as in a kiss.

Physical Description
Two distinct columnar forms emerge from a platform and are topped with spherical shapes that lean in and touch each other. The left form is slightly taller and wider than the right one.
