Currently under construction in Clark Park on the north branch of the Chicago River, SGA's design for river boathouses momics and transcribes in its saw-tooth roofline the motion of a rower on the river, the rhythmic dipping and draggin of an oar through water. The structures, which will provide storage and rowing facilities for kayakers and rowing teams, are to function as public access points to this neglected natural and civic resource.
