The body of a narwhal carved from shiny serpentine stone in a mottled greenish grey. The animal is positioned on its side, with one flipper underneath it and one up in the air. The tail is also lifted up in the air as though it is swimming. There is a hole on the front of its head where the ivory tusk can be attached.
