This drawing shows four male bathers. The largest figure stands in the center with his hands on his hips and back to the viewer. He faces three figures who are standing a little farther and lower on the beach. The figures are lean and muscular with elongated limbs.

There are two large figures in the forground, the left most bending and seeming to gather her towel, the central figure—with back to us—holds her towel horizontally. The third figure, slightly in the distance and to the right, leans over to dry her left foot.
