Subject matter
In this photograph, a towel hanging from a peg occupies the center of the composition. The scene is frontally illuminated, which gives the towel a radiant brilliance. Less illuminated, but still visible is a low wooden ledge that runs horizontally across the middleground image; a few spoons and cherry tomatoes sit on the ledge. In the darkness behind, a hand is barely visible, resting on what appears to be a person's back.

Physical Description
Two people laying horizontal in the background with a white towel hanging in the foreground.
