Subject matter
This four segmented piece contains images of trees and houses accompanied by verses of a Chinese poem. Each image shows trees and mountains, and some show a house by the mountains with a figure engaging in different activities in each one. The poem talks about the peace and serenity of residing upon nature and the beauty of green trees, tall mountains, and fresh air.
