Subject matter
This Dou 豆, tall stemmed black earthenware wheel-thrown pedastal bowl vessel of the Liangzhu Neolithic Culture (3100-2200 BCE) is very similar to ceramics from Shandong Longshan Culture (3000-1900 BCE). 

Physical Description
This black-gray earthenware tall-stemmed pedestal vessel has a bowstring pattern around the body and a wide flaring rim on a narrow base.
