Physical DescriptionThe subjects of this hanging scroll are as the title suggests, a heron, a willow, and peonies by a stream. The heron is flying in the upper half of the painting with the stream below it. The stream continues into the background into a hill. There is a leafless tree coming out of the water on the right obscuring a bunch of pink peonies. There is an inscription on the bottom right under the tree followed by a red seal.
