Subject matter
This print is part of Pascin's Cinderella Series. There are variations of the Cinderella folk tale in a number of cultures around the world. Here, Cinderella steps from the pumpkin coach, surrounded by coachmen and other attendants. Her life as an oppressed stepsister has been transformed positively with the help of myth or magic.

Physical Description
A horse-drawn carriage with several attendants is perched on a vertiginously slanted hill. A few coachmen stand nearby, most of whom wear top hats. One man helps a woman in a gown get out of the carriage.
