This abstract print has a large dark red and black circular form in the top half of the frame and a large orange and red circular form in lower half.  Black splotches and expressive lines dominate and overlap much of the image.

This abstract painting is primarily white with a large squarish area of dark green in the top left quadrant. Loose brushwork varies from wide, full strokes to the short, rapid strokes at the compositions center. Pigment application ranges from a very thin wash to heavy impasto.

This abstract print has a black circular shape near the center of composition. Around it, there are black and brown lines of varying thickness creating two circular designs in the top half of paper. The print is numbered (l.l.) "26/75" and signed (l.r.) "Joan Mitchell" in pencil.
