Subject matter
Actor Iwai Shijaku I, also known as Iwai Hanshirō VII, was the oldest son of Iwai Hanshirō V.  He was born in 1804 and died in 1845.

Nothing is known about Actor Ichikawa Sannosuke, who received his name sometime around 1828.

Physical Description
This print is of a man and a woman.  The woman sits on the floor, looking upward.  She wears a blue and white patterned robe.  The man stands behind her, wearing a blue and black striped robe.  He is reaching into one of his sleeves.
