Subject matter
Actor Iwai Shijaku I, also known as Iwai Hanshirō VII, was the oldest son of Iwai Hanshirō V.  He was born in 1804 and died in 1845.

Physical Description
In this print, a woman walks under an umbrella in the snow.  She wears an orange and green checked robe with a blue sash and carries a bucket by a rope (with name Sumidagawa) in her right hand.  The sky in the background is dark, and snow is falling.
